Colour Your Kicks!
My role for the Miggster+ "Colour your kicks" campaign was down in the ink. I hand-illustrated three completely distinct designs engineered to be printed onto classic Converse silhouettes as the tournament’s ultimate reward. The first was a contemporary swirl pattern built for modern streetwear culture; the second integrated bold, intricate African patterns heavily inspired by traditional Ndebele art; and the final pair was a straight, free-flow illustration that was entirely whimsical and irreverent.
The grand prize winner took home the entire trifecta, given the creative autonomy to receive them pre-painted or as raw keylines with a set of fabric paints to stamp on their own style.
